The group of companies “Alfa Telecom” was created in 2004. It consolidated telecommunications assets of the biggest Russian consortium
“Alfa Group”.

Nowadays “Alfa Telecom” is one of the leading Russian holdings in the field of telecommunications, which unites operators of mobile and fixed-line communications in Russia and CIS countries. We work in sphere of modern IT and we are on leading edge of economical and technological development of Russia.

“Alfa Telecom” manages its assets of the biggest Russian mobile operators – “Vympelcom” and “Megafon”, leading alternative operator of the fixed-line communications “Golden Telecom”, first-rate Ukrainian mobile operator “Kievstar”, mobile operator in Uzbekistan “Buztel”.

Market capitalization of “Alfa Telecom” assets in 2004 exceeded $ 3,5 bln. Alfa Telecom's part in net profit of its operators has gained the point of around $ 120 mln., and total number of our mobile operators’ subscribers is 53 mln.
